Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine

About Me

I am certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of the US. I am licensed in practicing acupuncture in both North and South Carolina.

My earliest interest in acupuncture and Chinese medicine was in my childhood when I saw my dad needling his head with his eyes closed. At age 9 or so, I started to read the books my father collected about acupuncture and try to figure out what's the meaning of those acupuncture point names. Later in my thirties, I was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis. I felt fatigued and my neck was stiff and sore all the time. One session of E-stim acupuncture helped me tremendously. I had no more pain in the neck and I had better energy.

In 2014, I took a part-time acupuncture program at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. It brought all that I learned and experienced together and set an academic foundation of my understanding in Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

After moving to the US, I completed the 4-year acupuncture program with a master's diploma at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in NC and 2- year Chinese herbology program at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in NC.

I have been treating patients who suffer from muscle pain, arthritis, migraines to digestive disorders, anxiety, and depression. I developed a strong interest in fertility and gynecologic health. I followed Dr. Wang Biqin and Master Guo Zhiqiang for infertility treatment with Chinese medicine.

Chinese medicine is a dynamic and evolving healing art that carries generations of the practitioners experience and knowledge. I am proud and passionate to contribute my share to this course and help patients.
